Christmas is one of the most important seasons of the church year. We celebrate the incarnation – when God became human through the birth of God’s son, Jesus.
Christmas Eve is typically the worship service that most people think of when they think of Christmas. At SPLC, the building is filled and we retell the story of Jesus birth through scripture reading, preaching, prayer, and (of course) singing. The people gathered will sing some of their favourite hymns and songs as we celebrate. Of course the night wouldn’t be complete without lighting candles and singing Silent Night together.
The 4:00pm service is our more traditional service, but still filled with the joy and celebration that Christmas deserves. If you grew up going to church, you’ll fit right in.
